  2. The Inner Grounds

Walk through the Lower and Upper Wards to see the massive scale.

  3. Eagle Tower

Practical Information

Wear comfortable, flat walking shoes. The stone paths are uneven, and the spiral staircases in the towers are narrow. Bring a waterproof jacket and warm layers, as coastal winds make the towers chilly.

Use a compact daypack. Large backpacks make it difficult to pass through narrow corridors. Note that drones are prohibited, and smoking is not allowed within the grounds.
